We've seen an external refurbishment to our streets this summer in Newark.

The up-side is that the area near Stray's now looks fantastic with beautiful paving and street furniture.

The down-side - the parking seems to be a free-for-all. So, if like us, you want to park legally and walk into town, we thought a map showing parking and bus/train points might help. click here to see the map» To close the map, click on it anywhere.

Car Parks:

(1) NCP on Lombard Street £3 all day - Pay on return.
Under cover. Well lit and staff on attendance. Easy access to town.

(2) N&SDC pay & display on Lombard Street. Open-air. Better for short-stay. Easy access to town. Make sure you don't overstay and get a fine!!

(3) N&SDC pay & display on Appleton Gate. Better for short-stay. Smaller than above car parks. Slightly further from central Newark.
(4) N&SDC pay & display on London road/Balderton Gate. Short or long stay with extra spaces over the road. Open air. Great access for Newark Library, Cinema and Carter Gate shops. Slightly further for central Newark.

(5) N&SDC Pay & Display at the Ossington. Better for short-stay. Open air. Good access for central Newark.

(6) N&SDC Pay & Display - Castle Station. Short or long. Open air. Good access for central Newark and Castle.
